Abstract

In this research I create an expert system based diagnosis and analysis of internal medicine (gastroenterology and diseases of the chest and respiratory diseases and endocrine).Through the introduction of symptoms experienced by the patient.The system diagnosis and then give the appropriate treatment or give medical instructions in case the disease can be treated with drugs.

The language used Visual Basic and Microsoft Access program in the programming and system design. Fresh graduated physicians particularly in far health centers need the help of the experience physicians, obviously this kind Off support is not available all the time, similar symptoms for different internal disease my lead to wrong diagnosis ,this is coupled with the fact that, medicine students need powerful training system in their different fields of study A diagnostic system was developed to help in obtaining correct diagnosis. complaints and symptoms, accordingly , it creates alist of possible diseases then it compares the entered symptoms with the main symptoms of each disease from the list, and then it compares the number of symptoms with the least number of symptoms that needed to diagnosis each disease from the list ,rejects all diseases that don’t satisfy the prescribed condition, till it reaches at the highest probability diseases ,then it displays the disease in the result screen with in treatment prescription according to age ,weight ,and chronic disease exist or not ,The system offers the required technical support for fresh graduated physicians in internal disease domain it presents necessary advices in time particular for distant health centers. The system is useful in obtaining correct diagnosis, its helps in avoiding wrong diagnosis.
