هدفت هذة الدراسة لتقييم الأرشفة الإلكترونية في الشركة السودانية للاتصالات (سوداتل) ووضعها الراهن وكيفية حفظ الوثائق والإجراءات الفنية المتبعة، بجانب السياسات والتشريعات المستخدمه ومن ثم إبراز نقاط الضعف والعمل علي معالجتها. كما هدفت إلى معرفة العاملين ومؤهلاتهم وكذلك الأجهزة والبرامج والنظم المستخدمة في عملية الأرشفة.استخدمت الباحثة المنهج التاريخي للاستفادة منه في الإطار النظري والمنهج الوصفي التحليلي ممثلاً في دراسة الحالة .

توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها عدم وجود إدارة منفصلة للارشفة الألكترونية بالشركة السودانية للاتصالات والافتقار اليتشريعات ولوائح ،و قلة عدد العاملين وضعف تدريبهم وتأهيلهم في المجال إضافة إلى عدم مطابقة المبانيللمواصفات وضعف المعالجة الفنية للوثائق. ومن اهم التوصيات تحديد الجهة التي تتبع لها الأرشفة الألكترونية في الهيكل الاداري وتخصيص ميزانية منفصلة للأرشفة الألكترونية تكفل لها حرية أداء مهامه ،و الأهتمام بالعاملين ورفع مستواهم عن طريق الدورات التدريبية المستمرة بجانب ضرورة العناية بالمباني من حيث الأمنوالسلامه.

This study aimed to assess the electronic archiving of Sudan Communication Company (Sudatel) so as to know the current status of the electronic archiving ,how documents are kept and what technical procedures are followed.

This is in addition to know the policy and archives legislations adopted by the company .

The study also aimed to know the points of weakness so as to treat them.

Italso attempted know the job description and the staff members qualification in addition to know the programs and systems which are used in electronic archiving.

The researcher used the historical research method in the frame work of the study and the descriptive analytical research method besides the case study and comparative research methods .

The study has come out with the following results:

There is no a separated department for archives in the company.

There is no archives acts and legislations in the company.

There is no sufficient qualified and trained staff in the field of archives in the company.

The weakness of the technical treatment of the documents.

The study has reached the following recommendations:

The need to show the position of the Archives Department in the administrative structure of the company.

To locate a separate budget for archive needs.

Continuity of training program for the staff members to increase their knowledge and skills.

To provide security and safety measures in the building allocated for the archives of the company.
