Abstract

abstract Sea transport is considered as one of the main activities in intemational trade. Dispite this world-wide importance of sea transport, the sea transport activities in Sudan was not given the weight it deserves. So this study tries to shed some light on the Sudan’s sea transport on the following lines: * Participation of Sudan’s sea transport in foreign trade. * Competition that Sudan line faces from the other world sea transport lines. * Difficulties and bottlencks that face sea transport in Sudan. * Plans and programnies to develop sea transport in Sudan. ' The study is based on certain hypotheses in the light of the cercumstances in which the Sudan sea transport works. Then the study came out with certain recommendations which are hoped to develop Sudan sea transport if they are applied.
