Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to exploring thinking styles and it is relationship to ambition level among visually impaired. The researcher used correlative descriptive method. She designed test of of thinking styles and test of ambition level, she collected the data by them from sample reached (101) visually impaired people, (46) are males and (55) are females, they were selected by casually method. The data analyzed by some statistical tests such as,T-test for one sample. T-test for two independent sampes, pearson correlation index, and analysis of Variance ( ANOVA), which are included in Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study recealed the following results: The thinking styles (analytical and realist) and ambition level among visually impaired people in Khartoum state are high. There is significant correlation relationship between thinking styles and ambition level among visually mpaired people in Khartoum state. There are no significant statistical differences in thinking styles (analytical and realist) and ambition level among visually impaired people in Khartoum state according to variables of sex, age, marital status, or education level. The results are discussed according to theoretical frame and previous studies. The researcher presented some recommendations, concern of including educational programs and practical methods of thinking abilities because of it is effective in increasing the abilities of visually impaired people and their abilities to personal and social adjustment. Using technics, experts, experiences, practices, activities, and strategies, which are including in promotion programs, because of their importance in helping visually impaired person to increase their ambition level. Also the researcher presented some future research suggestions.
