Abstract

abstract The aims of this study to know the problems of these methods in teaching Mathmatic in the higher secondary school class three at khartoum state and to know the role ot’ technecal Methods to solve this obastcles and to discover the value ot‘ educational Methods in teaching Mathmatic . The study’s population total ot’ teacher about 548 poth males and females the sample stady 132 teachers seleced randomly in the academic year 2002 — 2005 . The edacational methods used in the study is the questionnaire lt is reliapility confirmed by five experts in the field of eduction in teaching mathmatic . The coefficient has been worked out using sperman and Brown equation and caluclated to be 0,96 ln the stuy the researcher used signitcance o'l’coe"l’ficient oi" correlation was obtained using statitseal Methods namley (T) test Tor aMean of population and the Years of exp cricnccs bettwcen the responses oftcachers males Females _Thc study showed the liollowing results as from the opinion of teachers. l- The little use ot’ educational Methods has reflect little efficiency Learniny in mathmatic. There are many obstacles and dilliculties related to the teachers and elTect otteaching. 3- There are nany problems related to mangment have direct cll'ect in using educational methods . 4- There are many obstacles and difficulties effected directly with studants. this decreases the degree of the exam . 5- The opinion ot‘ teacher say that the chalk boards is official bodies provide only among other relevant facilities — other isvery expensive educational Methods equipment is for from available in Most governmental schools . 6- There is no statisieal dilTercnecs between the.respones ol‘ the teachers (Males / Tamals) towards the cfficiency 2- of technology education methods in teaching l\/lathmatics . I 7- There is statistical dilTerences betwee the responses it the teachers in using technique methods in teaching math . 8- There is signifcaiit statistical differenc bettween the responses ol’ trained and untrained teachers . 9- There is no significant staistical differences between males and Females, as regard the efficiency and difficulties ol‘ the of the use ol‘ educational methods . 10-There is no coeffieient of correlation which has asignificant statistial between the years of experience and the degree of responses towards the extent efliciency ol‘ the use oi‘ educational methods. The study came out with following, conclusions . l-Higher secondary school need professional teacher . 2-Ovei‘ come all dillicultics and obstacles financial and others lthat hindered the use ofeducational methods . l- Teachers should be trained so as to use these educational methods more efficiently and to be aware of the sigificace ofthis methods in the learning process. 2- Teacliers should be continuously supervised and trained to be assured at the maximum utili7.ation ol educational methods and to be used in there evaluation.
