Abstract

Abstract Archiving is a one of management most important aids, work method and organization process tool. Archive control could affect organizations processes regardless of their field; also, archive is nation memory and legacy that cannot be recreated which encompass past experiences and guide for the future. Bachelor, master’s and doctorate academic dissertations are one of the main information sources and documents that are used by researchers since it tackles many authentic subjects that never been discussed before; which provide a great addition to knowledge, benefit researcher in special information about desired topics and acknowledge research methods dissertations. Scientific conferences provide a place to gather researchers in one place to discuss their work and add to arbitrated journals, which are considered the most used media in academic field to publish researches and review results. Conference is different from seminars in number of participants, which is usually much higher; and the subjects are confined in seminars while conferences cover more subjects that are related in general. In addition, conference is different fiorn workshops; where workshops provide more applicable discipline of discussion than conferences. Scientific plagiarism is the stealing of other people’s ideas which is a serious violation taken seriously by university in any case, researchers must commit to avoid plagiarism; whereas universities focus on Information sources, guidelines and spread them among students and users; in relation to the value of students building their own experience and to save their time. » This research discusses the concept of electronic archiving as one of electronic applications that uses intemet through website to archive academic dissertations, scientific conferences papers and workshops electronically. Alternatively, by providing a mechanism to identify approved dissertations including bachelor, masters and doctorate in al- Neelain University. _ The research aim to facilitate academic dissertation identification to avoid repeating pre-approved dissertation and eliminate repetition. The website provide information about approved dissertations by title, English and Arabic abstract, program, date, conference paper and workshops through title and abstract. , Electronic Archiving of Academic Dissertations led to easy and fast managerial procedures inside the university such as lowering issues with repetition, ease of access through discipline and degree and publishes dissertation titles electronically to lower storage costs in diverse faculties of the university.
