Abstract

Abstract The research is an attempt to trace the lloly Quran verses which taekled the issue ofthe heart and the opinions ofQnran intetpreters about thetn. The_ researcher tried to hroaden the issue through quoting statements of some religions seholars and thinkers alrout the research chapters which have handled the following. The definition and concept of the heart. (spiritual) diseases ol hearts. heart's emotions. sound hearts and the importance ofthe heart. After collection of data about these ehapters and after analysis and discussion thereof. the study carne to significant results: The disease and health of the heart are two sensitive issues on which the destruction or building of the worldly life and the hereafter, Reform ofthe heart needs knowledge. deeds and eompanionship. The tertn heart stands for the physieal heart whose plaee is the chest. Religiously. the word stands for another heart. whose place is the Chest. linked with the physical heart and represents the physical heart and represents the place of faith and dishelief. The latter was nientioned in Qnran to indieate three meanings: The eonseiousness the diseretion and the real physical heart. How to reform the hearts? 'lhrough exelusive intention to (lod-adoption of values Vf service loneliness ruhhing on orphan's hair to worship (lod as if you see Him- reeitation ofthe lšeautiful Names of(iod. Ohstacles hindering hearts reform: Boredom - laziness - miserliness and exaggeration - isolation and congression. Finally, the researcher showed the references from which some infonnation were collected in addition to the Ouranic verses which were studied and the prophefs hadiths which supported the statements. The study also showed the names of scholars whose statements were mentioned and the list of contents.
