تناولت الدراسة دور محاكم الطفل في الحد من ظاهرة العنف ضد الأطفال دراسة حالة محكمة الطفل محلية امدرمان، تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في التعرف على دور محاكم الطفل التي تؤدي إلى حماية الأطفال من العنف، ومدى مساهمة التشريعات والقوانين الرادعة للحد من الظاهرة، هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور محاكم الطفل في الحد من العنف ضد الأطفال؛ طرحت الدراسة عدة تساؤلات منها هل لمحاكم الطفل دور في الحد من ظاهرة العنف ضد الأطفال وما هي التدابير والقوانين للتقليل من الظاهره وما هي أكثر الجرائم تكراراً في محاكم الأطفال ودرجة التفاعل بين الأسر والمحكمة، استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، أما الأدوات فاستعانت بالمقابلات والاستبيان، وكان مجتمع الدراسة أسر الأطفال الذين تعرض أطفالهم للعنف وذلك باستخدام العينة العشوائية البسيطة، خلصت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها أن لمحاكم الطفل دور في الحد من العنف ضد الأطفال، تطبق المحكمة مجموعة من الأحكام الرادعة ضد مرتكبي جرائم الأطفال، هنالك تفاعل بين الأسر ومحاكم الطفل نتيجة للتوعية بدور المحاكم، قدمت الدراسة عدة توصيات منها عمل دورات للتعرف بقانون الطفل بالمؤسسات الاجتماعية والمدارس ورياض الأطفال وتسهيل الإجراءات القانونية بمحاكم الأطفال لأسر الأطفال المعتدى عليهم وتقوية مراكز حماية الأطفال وتكثيف التوعية بالأحياء عن مخاطر العنف ضد الأطفال، سن بعض التشريعات والقوانين حتى تتناسب مع بعض الجرائم الحالية.

Abstract The study examined the role of childhood legislation in reducing the phenomenon of violence against children. Case study of the Omdurman local child court was the problem of the study in identifying the role of childhood legislation that leads to protection against violence and the extent of the contribution of legislation and deterrent laws to reduce it. The study aimed to identify the role of childhood legislation in reducing violence against children .the study raised several questions, including whether legislation has role in reducing the phenomenon of violence against children, what measures and laws to reduce the phenomenon and what are the most frequent crimes in children’s courts and the degree of interaction between families and court. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method as for tools, they used interviews and questionnaires. The study community was the families of children, whose children were exposed to violence by using simple random samples. The study concluded several findings, the most important of which is that, the court has role in reducing violence against children and the court applies a set of deterrent provisions against child crime perpetrators. There is an interaction between families and children's courts and a result of awareness of the role of the courts. The study made several recommendations including conducting sessions to social law, schools and kindergartens , facilitating legal procedures in children's courts for the families of abused children, strengthening child protection centers, intensifying awareness of neighborhoods about the dangers of violence against children and enacting some legislation and laws to suit crimes.
