dc.description.abstractAbstract This study investigates the effectiveness of the use of multimedia in teaching listening to Sudanese learners of English. It also examines the students‘ attitude toward .learning listening by using multimedia The participants of the study were 60 students of Alneelain University second-year .students of the English Department These participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control .group The data of the study was collected through a pre-test and a post-test for each of the two .groups The control group was taught listening without using multimedia, whereas the experimental group was taught by using .mu|timedia The results of the test reveal that there is a significant improvement in the performance .of the experimental group 4
