Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed at exploring the post-traumatic stress disorder and its relationship to self actualization among injured armed force individuals in armed force hospital. The researcher used the descriptive correlation method , the research sample consist of hundred person(l0O)selected by simple random method . The researcher used Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and self actualization scale to collect the data and then manipulated by computer applying the statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS). The research finding as follows:- Post-traumatic stress disorder among injured armed force individuals in armed force hospital is high. There is no relationship between Post traumatic stress disorder and self actualization among injured armed force individuals in armed force hospital. There are no significant differences in Post traumatic stress disorder among injured armed force individuals in armed force hospital regarding to age. There are no significant differences in self actualization among injured armed force individuals in armed force hospital regarding to educational level. There are no significant differences in Post traumatic stress disorder among injured armed force individuals in armed force hospital regarding to ranks. Eventually the researcher presented some recommendations and suggestions for future research.
