Abstract
Aastract
This field study, carried out in (Khartoum State) aims at identifying the
educational competence of teachers of Arabic language at high secondary
schools, and it adopts recent and latest findings of educational studies and
curricula.
This research embarks on demonstrating the most significant educational
features of competence that teachers of Arabic language at secondary schools in
(Khartoum State )would have expected to possess .lt also pays special attention
to the significance of incorporating the latest techniques of educational '
competence in curricula and the outcomes that educational competences may
have on the performance of the teachers concerned.
An up-to-date modified descriptive approach has been employed.
Questionnaire which have been well looked into by distinguished
Educationalists of teaching methodology and curricula have been modified and
adjusted to fulfill the demands of the study .These questionnaires were
distributed among one hundred and fourteen male and female teachers
employed at a total of thirty three secondary schools (male and female) in the
(Khartoum State).
Percentage of teachers competence and their opinions. \\ cighted mean and SPSS
have been widely used in this research as it has been found that they are
convenient for date analysis.
This research also studies the importance of educational competence scale
froml-5 and organizes results according to the weighted mean..
This study also deals with the significance of updating curricula in order to
comply with the most recent educational method s of achieving educational
competence. These include: .

ln conclusion, it is very important that teachers of Arabic language at secondary
schools should be aware of the significance of updating programmes of
educational competence in their everyday CBTE.
