Abstract:
Autism
is a neurological disorder characterized by qualitative
impairments in social interaction, qualitative impairments in
communication, and restricted repetitive, stereotyped patterns of
behavior, interests, and activities. Autistic Spectrum Disorders are
relatively common without known etiology can be found in 80-90% of
cases.
aim
to identified determinants of autism spectrum disorder among
children.
Design
descriptive research design; it was conducted in all
autism centers at Khartoum locality which includes12centers ,10centers
refuses to participate in this study,2 center agree to participate in this
study. and included 30 mothers who agree to participate in this study. The
study
included a structured interview questionnaire; this questionnaire
divided into two parts demographic characteristics, and mother
knowledge about risk factors of Autism.
Result
present study clear that
all mother of autism
all mother of autistic child on regular visit during
pregnancy (100%).most mother of autistic Chile on regular visit ring
pregnancy(100%).most mother of autistic suffer from disease during
pregnancy 40%. male represent a higher prevalence (83%) rate of autism
than females(17%). Majorities of autistic Child full vaccine dose most
mother of autistic child suffer from diseases during pregnancy ,most
whose study population were normal delivery, most study population fully
vaccination , most of study population were positive family history.
Conclusion
All mother of autistic child on regular antenatal visits.
Recommendation
To establish governmental center for autistic for
diagnosis, assessment and proper management.
