Abstract
ABSTRACT
The research aims to find out the reasons and causes for the
deteriorating of the Training standards of the students at Faculties of
Education for Basic Level. It also aiming to state the theoretical and
practical competencies needed by the student to acquire perfect training.
The research highlights the various competencies needed at as the
theoretical methods and approaches for fields training and the practical
approaches and ways inside the Faculties of Education. Moreover, the
research explores the role of the teachers of the Faculties who supervise
the students while they are practicing teaching in schools and the role of
the permanent school teachers who help in improving the performance of
the trainees. It also tackles the school environment and its impacts upon
the trainees.
The research is composed of five chapters; the first one is
dedicated for the general frame of the dissertation, the second for the
theoretical study, which deals with the general concept of Education and
Teaching, the history, its past, present and future in Sudan. The main
emphasis in this chapter is the practical educational competencies needed
by the student of Faculties of Education.
The research highlights the role of supervision and the teachers of
the schools in helping the trainees and overviews the previous studies in
this field. In the third chapter, the researcher concentrates on fieldwork,
the fourth chapter he scrutinizes and discusses the results and findings. In
the fifth chapter, the researcher summarizes his own findings and
recommendations.
The researcher uses a descriptive historical approach and data
collection through questionnaire, interviews and other relative resources.
