تناول البحث موضوع الآثار الاجتماعية للهجرة الداخلية بولاية الخرطوم بالتطبيق العملي علي منطقة ( صالحه هجيليجة ) وتلخصت مشكلة البحث في ان الهجرة الداخلية أثرت علي المجتمع السوداني وخاصة الهجرة من الريف إلي الخرطوم والتي تزايدت بشكل ملفت نتيجة لكثير من الأسباب كعدم التوازن التنموي وضعف الخدمات الأساسية وسوء الاوضاع المعيشية والصراعات المختلفة التي لعبت الدور الأكبر في تهجير اهل القري ولجؤهم إلي الخرطوم كمنطقة امنة , وقد تؤثر الهجرة علي المجتمع المهاجر منه بسبب فقده للقوة الانتاجية واحداث خلل في الهرم السكاني كما تؤثر علي ولاية الخرطوم بالضغط علي الخدمات العامة.

هدف البحث للكشف عن الآثار الاجتماعية للهجرة الداخلية علي مجتمع البحث والتعرف علي العوامل التي تؤدي للهجرة الداخلية والمشكلات الأسرية التي تسببها ومدي التداخل الاجتماعي بين السكان المحليين والمهاجرين.

وتلخصت اهمية البحث في التطبيق العملي للآطر العلمية والنظرية في ميدان علم الاجتماع والوقوف علي حجم الظاهرة في مجتمع البحث .

قام البحث علي عدد من التساؤلات وأشارت التساؤلات إلي ماهيالعلاقة بين الهجرة الداخلية والضغط علي الخدمات ، وماهو التأثير السلبيللهجرة الداخلية علي عادات وتقاليد واقتصاد المجتمع المحلي .

استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والمنهج التاريخي , كما استخدم الملاحظة والاستبيان في جمع البيانات , وايضا استخدام الباحث العينة العشوائية البسيطة.

توصل البحث إلي عدد من النتائج أهمها :

ان الظروف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والخدمات التعليمية تعتبر من اقوي أسباب الهجرة بولاية الخرطوم .

من إيجابيات الهجرة بولاية الخرطوم تمازج العادات والتقاليد والقيم الاجتماعية والثقافية والتفاعل بين السكان.
