dc.description.abstractAbstract Background: In nursing education both class room and clinical teachings are conducted, teaching and learning has four aspects: teacher, student, learning process and learning situation. The teacher creates the learning situation for the student. The process is the interaction between the student and teacher. Objectives: to study the perceptions of student nurse between self directed learning and traditional lecture. Methodology: Comparative descriptive cross sectional institutional base study. Conducted in 2018 among nursing students in faculty of nursing science, kordofan university, Sudan. (89) Nurses students were participated. Data collected by Close ended Questionnaire composed of (17) questions. Data were analyzed by using Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 22. It presented in form of tables and graphs. Results: The result reflected those study groups were known the advantages of self directed learning because the majority of them (94.4) were reported enhance brain storming. Furthermore justify that study group were know the advantages of traditional lecture because the majority of them (90.9%) viewed as language made suitable to all audience. These findings indicated that students have background information which provides them to be adaptive with different teaching methods without conflicts. The finding of the study indicated that more than half of them (60.7) have participated in learning activity directed by students themselves during four years participated in it independently. This finding justify that students have a good skills to adapted to different learning activities. Conclusion: That preferable learning strategy was self directed learning and students were satisfied with it. Recommendations: The study recommended that to Institutional director and nursing faculty of kordofan have to modify the nursing curriculum especially learning strategies and teaching methods .Experimental researches have to be done. المستخلص المقدمه:التعليم في التمريض يحتوي علي جانبين اساسيين نظري وعملي .عمليه التعليم والتعلم هي وسيله بين الاستاذ والمتعلم والمناهج ومتغيرات اخري منظمه بصوره منهجيه لتحقيق الاهداف المحدده مسبقا حيث يقوم الاستاذ باختيار الوضع المناسب للدراسه .العمليه التعليميه هي تفاعل بين الاستاذ والطالب . الاهداف:هدفت هذه الدراسه الي المقارنة بين فعاليه التعليم الذاتي والمحاضره التقليديه من وجهه نظر الطلاب. المنهجيه:اجريت هذه الدراسه الوصفيه التحليله في العام 2018 لطلاب السنه الرابعه كليه علوم التمريض جامعه كردفان وتم جمع المعلومات بواسطه استبانه من تسع وثمانون طالبا وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام برنامج التحليل الاحصائي والعلوم الاجتماعيه وتم عرضها في جداول واشكال . النتائج: توصلت الدراسه الي ان معظم الطلاب علي درايه بمزايا التعليم الذاتي(94.4)و المحاضره التقليديه(90.9). ايضا اثبتت الدراسه ان الطلاب لديهم معلومات عن طرائق التدريس المختلفه واكثر من نصفهم (60.7)شاركو في برنامج التعليم الذاتي بمختلف انواعه وهذا يدل علي ان الطلاب يمكنهم التاقلم مع طرائق التدريس المختلفه.وخلصت الدراسه الي ان التعليم الذاتي هو الافضل لدي الطلاب . اوصت الدراسه: الكليات ومعاهد التمريض بضروره التنوع في استخدام الوسائل وطرائق التدريس المختلفه وخاصه التعليم الذاتي مع ضروره اجراء بحوث تجريبيه في مجال التعليم التمريضي.en_US
