Abstract

Abstract This study examined multi development problems in Suki town. It was observed that many economic and social aspects have been reflected in agricultural, services as ectorsand in rural development. The study aimed to identify the reality of development in Suki and basic services available in the study area, and the effect of the movement of railway on local development and raising problems in Suki. The study followed descriptive analytical method to describe the reality of development and problems services in Suki town. The study reached to several conclusions including: Privatization of Suki Agricultural Project has led to prevent the town From the project contribution in development that began since 1970s, and many activities that have been concurrent with the presence of the railway services stopped including lack of tarmac roads linking the city with other cities which led to its isolation especially in autumn , and Low level of health services in the city, Prevalence of educational problems in the city represented by lack of qualified staff, study aids and worse economic conditions, Voluntary service organizations that help in community development such as communes and women association among others and the presence of active participation by the local community in development programs and projects in the region. The studies recommend that ministry of planning work store habilitate the railway for its big effectiveness to area development and to pave the main roads so as to link the town with other towns for stopping its isolation. The heath institutions should improve the health services especially infrastructure and provide specialized physicians and improve healthy environment in the field of preventive health. Also the ministry of agriculture should recover the rural development projects for its good effectiveness to the rural and urban settlement. o
