Abstract

Abstract This study discuss an issue of great importance is the developing countries Sudan is one of them. Societies of these countries have accumulated over centuries a variety of techniques systems, knowledge means and practices that were became adapted with environment and systems of the society. Ironically, decision makers in at deferent level in these countries do not understand its importance and underestimate its value and usefulness. ‘More over, they ignore it when, development plans were set as local resource. '\ This study biased it heptoses on assumptions that these_ minted elements which classified under traditional technology’ l are valid and useful, and it can be utilized in development. The study dims as demonstrate the advantages and potentialities that traditional technology has there advantages quality traditional technology to be economically viablfe, socially excepted and culturally adapted secondary to dra'w 4 attention to the ability and potentialities that traditiohal technology as and can be promoted and improved, to S61l'V6 effectively in development.
