dc.description.abstractThis study aims _to investigate the relationship between family and school in boosting academic performance for the 2"“ year secondary school studetns, shagra region, Khartoum State. Sudan. The study aims to know the nature of the relation as well to decide whether it is reliable or not. The study also investigates the family socio- economical impact on academic performance. The Researcher used the analytical-descriptive methodology. Sample society was 405 students selected to be government schools only in Sahgra region, Khartoum state- Sudan. The sample society was taken randomly form the 4 schools in the area. 30 students 2"“ year form each school. The selected sample was 120 male & female. The researcher has made-up a three angle questioner. The data was treated by SPSS. The overall conclusion is that there is an interconnected relation between family & school that affects academic performance. Whereas the socio-economical factor has got a significant impact on academic performance. One of the final conclusions is that parents’ level of education affects the student academic input.en_US
