Mg-Al Layered Double Hydroxide as Drug Delivery Vehicle for Mefenamic Acid

| dc.description.abstract | Abstract The intercalations of anionic molecules and drugs in layered double hydroxides (LDH) has been intensively investigated in recent years. In this work the intercalation of mefenamic acid into the inter-gallery of Mg-Al layered double hydroxide was accomplished by using co-precipitation method. The resultant synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Feurier transform infrared (FT-IR). The analytical characterization techniques confirmed the formation of layered double hydroxide structure and Mefenamic acid has been successively intercalated into Mg-Al layered double hydroxide. In the Mefenamic acid drug release experiment which carried out in buffer solution i.e. pH 4.7 the UV-vis spectroscopy result displayed that Mefenamic acid has been released from Mg-Al layered double hydroxide. المستخلص تمت دارسة عمليات ادخال الادوية و الجزيئات الانيونية في طبقات الهيدروكسيدات المزودجة بشكل مكثف في السنوات الاخيرة .في هذا العمل تم ادخال حمض الميفيناميك في طبقات مزدوجة من هيدروكسيد الالمونيوم والماغنيسيوم بواسطة طريقة الترسيب المشترك. تم تحليل المادة الناتجة عن طريق اجهزة التحليل الطيفي مثل مطياف الاشعه فوق البنفسجيه,مطياف الاشعه الحمراء وايضا مطياف حيود الاشعه السينيه. اكدت تقنيات التحليل الطيفي نجاح تحضير طبقات مزدوجة من هيدروكسيد الالمونيوم والماغنيسيوم ونجاح ادخال حمض المفيناميك داخل هذه الطبقات .كما اكد طيف الاشعه فوق البنفسجي في تجربة اطلاق حمض الميفيناميك التي اجريت في محلول منظم (أي درجة الحموضة 4.7) ان حمض الميفيناميك قد تم اطلاقه من هيدروكسيد الالمونيوم والماغنيسيوم. | en_US |
