The study investigates the scientific creativity and impeds of scientific research
in Khartoum University. To achieve this aim, scientometric approach and
content analyses were used for the list of publications in CV5 of 297 _
participants, both male (71.7%) and female (28.3%), from science (57.6%) and
arts faculties (42.4%). A questionnaire was designed for investigating the
impeds of scientific research to a sample of 131 participants. The study showed
that the percentage of scientific producers (60.6%) and those have creative
citation or impact (35.9%). The total number of creative production was 2764
papers and the average of creative production was 9,31 paper while for creative

specialization, and place of training. The study showed that the H-Index of
researchers was ranged between 1-12=points.~It showedvthat there was a negative
correlation between scientific production and consumption and impeds of
scientific research. The social and economic impeds have more negative impact
