Abstract

ABSTRACT This study sheds light on Jamharat al-Luga by lbn Dureid al—Azdi (321H). It is historical, descriptive and analytical in its methodology. The study includes three chapters followed by conclusion and collected technical indexes. Chapter one sheds light on the lexicographical efforts of the Arabs in their methods, describing in its three sections the concept of lexicon; the study displays the historical development of the lexical study for Arabs followed by shedding light on lexical schools. ‘ Chapter two reflects in its three sections general features ol‘ the era of lbn Dred Alazdi, his autography and introduction of his book Aljamhra Chapter three sheds light on linguistic studies in the book of Aljamhara includes phonetic, functional grammatical and morphological studies The study concluded by conclusion, results recommendations and suggestions
