| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays everyone uses technologies like computers, smartphones and internet to accomplish their tasks. Generally sharing of information or data is done with the help of wired or wireless connection. Wireless communication has become a fundamental need of human being. In wireless category wi-fi is available for data transmission. The wireless data is transmitted by the radio waves but due to limitations of radio waves such as availability, efficiency and speed Dr. Harald Haas proposed Li -Fi technology. That means using the visible spectrum i.e. LED light to send the data. It can overcome the issues related to data transfer using wi fi technology or radio waves. Gi-Fi is one of the most important wireless technology that enhances our personal environment, either work or private, by means of networking or a variety of personal and wearable devices within the space and with the outside world. In optical fibers, Gi-Fi played an important role for its high speed large files transfers within seconds. It is a scalable wireless platform for constructing alternative and complementary broadband networks and it operates at 60 GHz on the CMOS process. It will also allow the transfer of wireless audio and video files within a range of 10 meter ,In this research we compared between two techniques li-fi &gi-fi from deferent side ,first low cost and high data rate .low power consumption ,quick deployment . | en_US |
