Abstract
The research aimed to find out death anxiety with cancer patients at the National Center
for Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine, to achieve this goal the researcher used the
correlation methodology, the total sample size was (100) individual with cancer, (44) males
and (56) females, they were chosen randomly -by chance- in the National Center for
Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine in Khartoum, and the researcher applied to them the
scale of death anxiety. The data were analyzed statistically using the program (SPSS)
Statistical Package for Social Sciences and findings were as follows : -
1 / Death anxiety in people with cancer is high.
2 / There are significant statistically differences in death anxiety among patients with cancer
due to the variable of duration of the disease .
3/There is a negative correlation statistically significant relationship between death
anxieties in patients with cancer, due to the variable of age.
4 / There are no statistically significant differences between males and females with cancer
in death anxiety.
5 / Significant statistical differences do not exist in death anxiety among patients with
cancer, due to the variable of eradication of cancer cells.
