Abstract

Abstract The marine navigation is important to all nations. It is considered as one of the " main activity of the human beings benefits. It facilitates the transportation of different peoples and goods around the world. The importance of, the marine law of any country is depended upon the geographical location, its sea borders in addition to commercial international location. Generally; the marine law has its significance towards the Arab countries because ~f their locations along famous seas and oceans. Yemen is one of these countries and has a distance of 2400 km along the coast. The main Yemeni seaports are Aden, AI-houdiadah, Mokha and AI-mukalla. The research is studied the importance of the marine navigation with relation to ' the international commerce, and the legislations of the marine law on the other hand. The research hopes that, this study will contribute in increasing the law library sources, especially the Yemeni legislations with up to date international rules in this issue. The research's plan has been divided into; introduction, which explains the main subject of the study, the marine navigation, what its meant, types, the resources of the marine law, and three chapters. In the first chapter the researcher defines the marine navigation, its legislations and the identification of the commerce ship., The second chapter discusses the marine and the land creWs with highlighting on the shipping agent and the ship agent. The third chapter is dealt with the management of the commercial ship. The researcher concludes this study with results and recommendations, which can help in developing Yemen and Arab countries
