Abstract
Abstract Having dealt with the authors, inside and outside Al-Wifada (The Generosity) Andalusian literature of Andalusia, we can register the following results: The subject addressed is unprecedented, except for some indications encountered in a number of books like the history of Andalusian literature "The Era of Qurtuba Power", by Dr. Ihsan Abbas. This type of literature is very rich and abundant and it included most of the Arabic poetry types, and some prose. It constitutes a historical literary document which is very significant in any study involving the Andalusian literature and history. This is attributed to the important event of Arabs and Muslims lives registered by this literature. The roots of this subject were Oriental, although it was developed by the Andalusian people to the extent that it became different from Al Wifada literature in terms of arising factors and some poetic types, due to the different conditions in Andalusia and the Orient. The magnitude of poetry in this type of literature is greater than prose due to the influence of poetry at that time over prose, because poetry was more acceptable to the Arab psyche. This literature used to be more famous and intensive outside Andalusia than inside it, due to the division of Andalusia and the absence of powerful and influential rulers who could defend Andalusia and its people. Andalusia authors were more creative outside Andalusia, particularly in the West Arab region, because they found there rulers of influence and power. They inflated their writing in order to provoke religious and Arab zeal to stimulate the rulers and, hence, to attain their goal, i.e. the support of Andalusia and its people. The prose and poetry in this type of literature had abundant rhetorical and fine literary artistic styles. Due to the abundance of rhyme, music and other rhetorical symbols, this literature managed to create a poetic music of high level with great influence on the listeners, particularly among the ruling class. Oriental literature had an obvious impact on its Andalusian counterparts, including Al-Wifada literature. Moreover, Andalusian literature showed the specific and unique literary personality of the Andalusian people in spite of the influence of different types of Oriental literature on them.
