Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study tries to investigate the correlation coefficient
between the ability of creative thinking with achievement
motivation, level of ambition and psycho-social adjustment
among fifth level pupils of primary school at Abu Issa area in
libya.
The researcher applied the descriptive method in carrying out
this study. The sample comprises (274) subjects, (132) male,
(142)female. The tools of data collection distributed to the
sample consist of the following:
l-Photographed Intelligence Scale.
2-Creative Thinking Scale.
3-Achievement Motivation Scale.
4-Arnbition Level Scale.
5-Psycho-social Adjustment Scale.
The data manipulated by the computer applying the statistical
package for Social Sciences (spss) using the following statistical
tests:
1- T- test.
2- Pearson Correlation Coefficient.
3- Spearman Correlation Coefficient.
4- Partial Correlation Coefficient.
5- Partial (Cronbach) Correlation Coefficient.
The most important results of this study are as follows:
1- There is no statistical significant correlation coefficient
between the dimensions of creative thinking with
achievement motivation, level of ambition and psycho-social
adjustment among the pupils of fifth level of primary school
at Abu Issa area in Libya.
2- There is a significant correlation coefficient between
ambition level with its dimensions among the pupils of fifth
level of primary school at Abu Issa area in Libya.
3- There is a significant correlation coefficient between the
dimensions of creative thinking with achievement motivation
among the pupils of fifth level of primary school at Abu Issa
area in Libya.
4- There is a significant correlation coefficient between the
dimensions of creative thinking with psycho-social
adjustment among the pupils of fifth level of primary school
at Abu Issa area in Libya.
5- There is a statistically significant difference in the dimension
of creative thinking between male and female in favor of
female of the fifth level of primary school at Abu Issa area in
Libya.
6- There is no statistical significant difference in achievement
motivation between male and female of the fifth level of
primary school at Abu Issa area in libya.
7- There is no statistical significant difference in ambition level
between male and female of the fifth level of primary school
at Abu Issa area in Libya.
8- There is no statistical significant difference in psycho-social
adjustment between male and female of the fifth level of
primary school at Abu Issa area in Libya.
Finally, some recommendation were proposed according to
results, and suggestion for further studies were presented and the
references and appendices were cited at the end of the study.
