هدف البحث للتعرف على العلاقة بين الاكتئاب وبعض سمات الشخصية لدى مرضي مستشفي التجاني الماحي. وللتحقق من ذلك استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي وذلك من خلال مقياس الاكتئاب وبعض سمات الشخصية وتكونت عينة البحث من (60) من مرضي مستشفي التجاني الماحي وبعد جمع البيانات تم تحليلها باستخدام برنامج الحزمة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) وذلك من خلال اساليب الاحصائية التالية: اختبار (ت) لعينة ولعينتين واختبار انوفا تحليل التباين الاحادي. ولقد توصلت النتائج التالية: توجد علاقة طردية دالة بين الاكتئاب وبعدى الضبط وتحمل المسئولية، وعكسية مع بعد العفو والتسامح. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائيا في الاكتئاب لدى مرضى الاكتئاب بمستشفى التجاني الماحي تعزى لمتغير النوع. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائيا في الاكتئاب لدى مرضى الاكتئاب بمستشفى التجاني الماحي تعزى لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية. وتوجد فروق دالة احصائيا في الضبط لدى مرضى الاكتئاب بمستشفى التجاني الماحي تعزى لمتغير النوع بينما لاتوجد في بعدي العفو وتحمل المسئولية. ولا توجد فروق دالة احصائيا في ابعاد الشخصية (الضبط، العفو والتسامح، تحمل المسئولية) لدى مرضى الاكتئاب بمستشفى التجاني الماحي تعزى لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية. وتوجد علاقة طردية دالة بين ابعاد الشخصية (الضبط، العفو والتسامح، تحمل المسئولية) والعمر لدى مرضى الاكتئاب بمستشفى التجاني الماحي. وكما تمت مناقشة النتائج بناءً علي الادبيات التي وفرها الاطار النظري والدراسات السابقة وكما قدمت الباحثة مجموعة من التوصيات ومن اهمها أن تكون المقابلة بين الاخصائي النفسي والعميل بصورة فردية. Abstract The aim of the research is identify the relationship between depression and personality traits among patients at Eltigani Elmahi hospital. To verify this, the researcher used the descriptive approach , through The scale of depression anda personality traits. The research sample consisted of (60) patients from Eltigani Elmahi hospital. After collecting the data, they were analyzed by using the Statistical Package Social Sciences ( SPSS) through the following statistical methods, a sample test, two samples, a na NOVA test and one time analysis of variance. The researcher reached the following redukts: There is positive correlation between the two dimensions of depression and taking responsibility., and an inverse relationship with the dimension of forgiveness and tolerance. There were no statistical significant differences in depression among depressed patients at Eltigani Elmalı hospital due to the marital status variable. There is a significant correlation between the dimensions of personality, forgiveness and tolerance bearing responsibility and age of patients with depression in the hospital. The results were discussed based on the literature provided by the theoretical framework and the previous studies. The researcher also presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which is that the interview between the psychologist and the patient is supposed to be in an individual form
