dc.description.abstractThis study was designed to determine the rate of infection of intrstinal parasite in gastrointestinal patients in Omdurman . This study included the collection of 100 stool samplesof whom fifty patients with gastric ulcers and the other fifty without ulcers . Stool were treated with direct preparation and concentration by formal ether technique. Among the fifty samples of patient with pagtic ulcer 22(44%) and 31(65%) were found to be positive by wet and concentration techniques respectively the parasites encounted were E .histolytica(37.2%), G.lamblia(14%),H.nana (11.6%) .en_US
