Abstract

Abstract This research aim ed to investigate the efficiency of psychological counselor in secondary schools in Omdurman Locality, Khartoum State , according to students' point of view. The research included 300 students in secondary level. And to achieve the aim of the research the researcher applied the descriptive method to find the results then analyzed and explained them. So the researcher used the questionnaire to collect the data and processed it using ) Statistical Package For Social Sciences) ) SPSS ) and the following statistical tools:  arithmetic mean  Standard deviation

T. Test  Cronbach's Alpha The Research found that : - 1 - The psychological counselor's role is not efficient in secondary schools in Omdurman Locality, Khartoum State , according to students' point of view . 2 - W here there is one, the psychological counselor has good relationship with students in secondary schools in Omdurman Locality, Khartoum State , according to students' point of view . 3 - T he psychological counselor has the qualifications and skills needed in secondary schools in Omdurman Locality, Khartoum State , according to students' point of view . 4 - T here are no facilities for psychological counselor in secondary schools in Omdurman Locality, Khartoum State , according to students' point of view . The researcher provided so me recommendation s , one of them: Positive support to counselors in secondary schools in Omd urman Locality, Khartoum State technically and financially and grant its presence and its e ff ective role .
