Study of Extraction of Dye Stuff from Henna Leaves Application in Leather Industry

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to extract anatural dye from the surrounding environment plants (henna) and use this dye in the leather industry، The sample was collected from henna leaves, processed, and tested for acidity and moisture. The dye was extracted from the henna leaves using various solvents usi. ng the saxolite device under certain conditions and the chemical and physical tests on the extracted dye. The extracted dye was used in different concentrations in the leather industry and the results were studied.

المستخلص الغرض الاساسي من هذه الدراسه هو استخلاص صبغة طبيعية من نباتات البيئه المحيطة(الحنه) واستخدام هذه الصبغه في صناعه الجلود . تم جمع العينه من اوراق الحنه وتجهيزها ، واجراء اختبارات الحموضه والرطوبه . تم استخلاص الصبغة من اوراق الحنه بواسطه مذيبات مختلفه باستخدام جهاز السكسوليت وتحت ظروف معينه واجراء الاختبارات الكيميائية والفيزيائية علي الصبغه المستخلص وتم استخدام الصبغة المستخلصه بتراكيز مختلفه في صناعة الجلود وتمت دراسة النتائج وتحليلها .
