Abstract The aim of the study is to evaluate corneal thickness in patients with difierent stages of Keratocons who attend the cornea clinic at Makka eye complex and is the relationship to gender , age and the degree of Keratoconus. Sixty patients were examined in this study age ranged between 9 and 47 years who keratocones 20 (33.3% ) were males and 40 (66.7% ) were females The data included ages , gender, family history , visual function tests includingvisual acuity tested , objective refraction , subjective refi'ation ,best correction visual acuity pachymetry Central corneal thickness and keratometry. Result : the thinnest comeal thickness was below 400 pm in 20% of the patients with Keratoconus neither gender nor age had a significant relationship with the thickness visual acuity and degree of Keratoconus showed significant correlation with the thinnest point in the comeal pachymetery There is need to have regular comeal pachymetery in all patients with Keratoconus to treat and follow up with refi'action and pachymeteiy. Key words :Keratoconous ~comeal thickness~ visual acuityen_US
