Abstract

Abstract This research tackles the role of the administrative planning on achievement of the serviceable firms targets. “The case study of The National Corporation for Electricity". AALL teseatcii pruuiein is patent in tne Ioltowrng ques ions: . 1- I-las the administrative planning an active role in achieving the serviceable firms targets? 2- What are the factors that affect the planning operation‘? 3- Is there a correlation between the planning and the other administrativejobs? 4- Are there planning problems that faces the serviceable firms in general and the National Corporation for Electricity in particular? 5- Did the National Corporation for Electricity succeed in achieving its targets according to the laid plans? This study targets to shed light on the administrative planning in general and the planning operation of the National Corporation for l-Ileetricity in particular, to know the significance and advantages ol planning and its principles, and to know the planning problems which face those firms and their encouragement to use the active planning for the best achievement of their targets. For the a'.'i!i::vement cf those targets, tin. ieseaiuitei laid down the following hypothesis: 1. The inexistence of an active planning leads to the failure of the firm to achieve its targets. 2. The firm planning operation is affected by a group of internal and extemal factors.

3. The relation between the administrative planning and the other administrative jobs in need of an increasing interest and full care. 4. There are planning problems that confront the serviceable firms in general and the National Corporation for Electricity in particular. 5 The National Corporation for Flectiricity succeeded to achieve its targets according to the laid plans. The study general frame is divided into three main parts: l. The research general framework. 2. The research theoretical framework. 3. The research applied and analytical frame (The field study). Whereas the researcher used the books, references, ignagazines and the documents as a secondary tools, besides the interviews and questionnaire distribution as primary tools. The study confirmed the validity of the above mentioned hypothesis. and from the most important reached results are: 1- 'l'he administrative planning plays a significant role in achieving the serviceable firm targets including. the National Corporation for lilectricity. 2- There are many factors that affect the planning operation. 3- 'l'here is a significant correlation between the planning and the other adminisrrmive jobs 4- There are planning problems that confront the serviceable firms in general and the National Corporation for Electricity in particular. 5- Finally the study confirmed the success of the National Corporation for Electricity in achieving its targets according to its dravm plans.
