Abstract

Abstract The study deals with research and analysis the role of the International Criminal Court in political stability, a case study (the Criminal Court of Rwanda). Because the researcher feels that the International Criminal Court must play an important role in resolving disputes between African countries, which kills thousands of people of this continent, in spite of the regency of the International Criminal Court, which was established in (2002), but the hopes related to a as the fruit of the efforts of states and the views of legal experts and political scholars for long periods of time, and it was a concern to them, is how to find a mechanism regulate and organize and develop the fixed criteria for evolving world is not an area where of injustice, The researcher studying and analyzing the subject in application of the state Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, for the conviction of a researcher of injustice, which occurred on the victims of the massacres that occurred in Rwanda, which were victims of about 800,000 people had been victims of ethnic, religious and sectarian conflict, and also find out whether the ICC is able to prevent such massacres in the future, and the balance of justice to prosecute those who caused and committed these massacres, and that the court remains a sword on the neck of each of threatening international peace and security .
