البرنــــــــــــــــــــــــــــو في الســـــــــــــــــــــــودان (1603 – 1893م)

Abstract

تحاول هذه الدراسة أن تبحث عن أثر وجود قبيلة البرنو في السودان. وهي إحدى القبائل التي هاجرت من السودان الأوسط (تشاد) إلى السودان الشرقي والغربي (1603-1893م)، تنبع أهمية البحث في أنه يناقش أثر التمازج الإثني بين القبائل الوافدة والمقيمة وأثر هذه القبيلة في المجتمع السوداني مع عرض موجز لأسباب دوافع الهجرة في تلك الفترة ويهدف البحث إلى التعرف على تاريخ هذه القبيلة كما يهدف الى إبراز الأثار والاسهامات التي خلفوها في المجتمع السوداني. اتبعت الباحثة المنهج التاريخي الوصفي بالرجوع إلى أهم المصادر والمراجع بالإضافة إلى المجلات العلمية والمقابلات الشخصية، توصلت الباحثة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها من الملاحظ أن هذه القبيلة نشأت في السودان الأوسط (تشاد) وكانت وثنية وعند مجيء الإسلام سرعان ما لبوا الدعوة الإسلامية وتشربوا بمبادئها وكان ملوكها خير معين لها من خلال مجهوداتهم التي قاموا بها من مساجد وخلاوي ودور لتعاليم الدين الإسلامي الحنيف. فأثر هذه القبيلة في المجتمع السوداني واضحاً من حيث الآثار التي تركوها في النواحي السياسية والاقتصادية والعلمية والدور العظيم الذي قاموا به في الثورة المهدية وعلى الرغم من أنهم انصهروا داخل المجتمع السوداني تأثروا به وأثرو فيه إلا أن عاداتهم لم تندثر وسارت جنباً إلى جنب مع العادات السودانية. This study tries to study the impact of Barno tribe existence in Sudan, as one of the tribe that migrated from mid Sudan (Chad) to the Eastern and Western Sudan (1603-1893). The importance of the research merges from discussing the impact of ethnic mingling between arriving and residing tribe, and the impact of this tribe in Sudanese community, besides, a summarized presentation to the reasons and motivations of migration in that period. The research aims at perceiving the history of this tribe, and illustrating the effects and contributions it uttered in Sudanese community. The researcher adopted the historical descriptive methodology by referring to the most important sources and references, in addition to journals references and personal interviews. The researcher shows numerous results. It is remarkable that this tribe originated in mid Sudan (Chad), and had been idolatrous. When Islam came, it soon responded to its mission and absorbed its principles, aided by its kings through their efforts in building mosques and Koran houses to educate Holy Koran. Therefore, the impact of this tribe is remarkable politically, economically, scientifically, and the great role they played in Mahdi Revolution. Despite their integration in Sudanese community, yet their traditions persisted, and continued in parallel with Sudanese traditions.
