Abstract

Abstract The present study analyzes the mathematical studying situation for . female students at women's colleges ir1 the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. l Based on that conception the study aimed to collect data, information and facts about students’ abstention from studying Mathematics. Furthennore, the study analyzed the student's general attitudes towards tnathematics. The researcher collected statistical data concerning the - numbers of graduates from women's colleges between (l4(lOH and @1419?) as an initial study tool. The second tool used was a questionnaire Ji . l . ”".l"'desigrted for the fourth year students in women's colleges. Another one ']?“§fi§§va§ {designed for the science departments. A third tool was interviews lliilused to collect. data from specialized mathematicians. In the literatures - review the researcher analyzed the female education development in the K_ingdom of Saudi Arabia and the educational factors that aifect mathematics learning by surveying the literature about Mathematics learning theories.
