Abstract

Abstract This study tackled the social factors that affect the delay of the age of marriage for the working woman in specialized _]ObS . the study aimed at identifying those social factors that led to this delay . The study used the descriptive analytic approach as data as been collected from primary and secondary sources field study has been carried out among working woman in specialized jobs in Khartoum state where the questionnaire forms have been prepared and distributed toll subjects among working women in specialized jobs . The research included an six chapters the first chapter the research tacked the general creme work . The tow chapter is about the role of women in the traditional contemporary comtmmity . that include education and its role in wotncn , lobour, and the role, tho third chapter women is Sudanese society and the role of wotnzm in spcci:tli7.ed_iohs with relcreuce to some selected samples relcvunt to the suhject mutter. The forth chupter is nbout the concepts. lhctors. ohstucles and theories ol' sociul change . K The study concluded that education and jobs are not among the factors that delay woman marriage . The delay of marriage is attributed to the lack of the suitable person and the disagreement of woman to many and there are no negative aspects on the part of woman who delayed her marriage . The researcher recommended that the govemment should improve the working conditions and provide job opportunities addition to establish is syrnposia as well as combat harmful practices of marriage.
