Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to design a website (electronic encyclopedia) to enhance technical knowledge content in the Arabic language, so as to identify the agricultural crops in Sudan, and how to employ them and invest, where and that by building an essential base for the storage and exchange of information on Sudanese agricultural crops. As Well as to‘ shed light on the documented agricultural information, where ‘ s the encyclopedia is to provide knowledge for each beneficiary, and also the encyclopedia aims to establish a solid foundation of knowledge . For the exchange of agricultural information in Sudan and the Arab world, in order to facilitate to the decision-maker these sources classification intenns of quantity and quality. . . V This study looked for a_website featuring infonnation and research and practical theory about everything related to agriculture in Sudaniand techniques that can be used in this area, also to include detailed information on the majority of the crops grown in the Sudan and to know technical packages recommended for each crop, also the site will contain a comprehensive,libr_aly in the field of agricultural crops. In this study, the mechanism (Agris) was used to search for information inside the encyclopedia in the two ways of regular and advanced search to make it easier for the reader to find‘ the required information. The study showed that the Encyclopedia is specialized so that it gives advantage of each‘ who has relationship with the agricultural domain; scholars, researchers and investors, as well as the establishment of knowledge of high quality and credibility of the nucleus of a source of documented agricultural information Sudanese. We can also addinformation to the Encyclopedia in a methodology which distinguishes it from other electrdnic encyclopedias.
