Abstract
t " Abstract
This study target to evaluate the level of the strategical
management practice in the Islamic banks in Yemen through the fact~
finding
of the opinions of the management of the specialized
administrations and the members ‘of the higher administration in the
Islamic Banks for the evaluation of the level of their practice of the
strategic management through the following pivots: - -

. Specification of bank message
_. Specification of the bank's targets in advance.
. Analysis of the internalenvironment factors.
. Analysis of the external environmental factors
. Laying down of the alternative plans
. The factors of the strategy execution
7. The strategic reconditioning process
The researcher used the scientific analytical descriptive methodology.
the field study style. whereas he distributed (76) questionnaires which
represent the total study community. The returned questionnaires
reached (72) ‘in number, and all are useful for the statistical t-reatment.
From the most important reached results are that. the Islamic l3aiiks
in Yemen highly concerned with the strategic management practice.
and there are factors which curb the practice ol‘ the stratcgieal
~ management in the Islamic Banks. of which the rarity‘ ol" the
specialized cadres in the fields ol’ the strategic planning. and the non-
existence of specialized administration for the strategic planning in
some Islamic banks, in additional to the non-concern of laying down
ofaltemative plans. non- political and security stability and nun-clear
monetary policy in the country. '
From the most important recommendations are : I
l. Qualification and capacity building of the administrative
leadership in the Islamic banks and their training in practicing
the strategic management.
2. Necessity of existence of specialized administration in the
strategic planning in he Islamic hanks to support it with
specialized cadres in the field of the strategic planning.
3. The Islamic banks shall have Full concem in laying. down
alternative plans to be used when changes take place.
4. The state should combat the financial and adminisuative
corruption and the application ol’ the laws, shall work from the
political and security stability and the state monetary policy
shall be clear.
