dc.description.abstractAbstract The National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums (NCAM) has been conducted an archaeological survey and excavation in the region endangered by the project of Sitite and Atbara Dam in eastern Sudan between 2010 and 2013. More than 44 archaeological sites were recorded, dated from the prehistoric period to the Othman colonization, between Milaga to Zahana in the end of the lake in 55km length. Some archaeological sites been chosen for excavation, as a settlement which dated to the Neolithic period. Also some cemeteries excavated which roughly dated to late periods, some graves composed different types and burial customs, compare with the Gash culture.en_US
