جاء البحث بعنوان "النظرية التأويلية ما بين البلاغة والنقد الأدبي الحديث"وذلك ليدرس نظرية التأويل بين البلاغة و النقد الأدبي الحديث ، بدأ البحث بتعريف النظرية وما تعنيه ، وكان الفصل الأول للتعريف بالمفاهيم المتعددة التي يعنيها التأويل ، بحيث تناول الباحث تعريف التأويل في اللغة والإصطلاح و تعريف التأويل في البلاغة والنقد الأدبي . وقد تناول البحث في الفصل الثاني نظرية التأويل في ميدان الدراسات البلاغية ، حيث تطرق البحث الى البلاغة التأويلية والتأويل عند علماء البلاغة وخاصةً التأويل عند عبدالقاهر الجرجاني ، كما عالج البحث إشكالية التأويل في البلاغة الحديثة وتناول في هذا نظرية التأويل التقابلي من خلال سياق التأويل في الدراسات البلاغية الحديثة . كما تناول البحث في الفصل الثالث نظرية التأويل في النقد الأدبي الحديث ، حيث تطرق الى تعريف النقد الأدبي كتمهيد، ثم عرف النقد التأويلي و تطرق الى نشأة وتطور النظرية التأويلية في الفكر الغربي حيث تناول الفكر التأويلي عند الغرب بالدراسة و التأصيل وتتبع نشأة مصطلح الهرمنيوطيقا في الفكر الغربي والعلماء الذين تناولوا هذا الفكر بالدراسة . وتناول البحث التأويل في الفكر العربي مع التأصيل لعلم التأويل في الفكر العربي مروراً بالنقد التأويلي عند العرب و العلماء الذين اشتهروا بالنظرية التأويلية من النقاد العرب ، كما اختتم الباحث الب حث بدراسة تطبيقية حيث تناول التأويل في شاعرية أدونيس دراسة بعنوان الفضاء والتأويل في شاعرية الشاعر العربي أدونيس . وقد دمج الباحث بين المنهج التاريخي و المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ،وذلك في سعيه لجمع المادة التاريخية و وصفها وتحليلها .
