جاءت هذه الدراسة بعنوان الأسر العلمية الدمشقية وأثرها علي الحياة العامة خلال العصر المملوكي (648-923ه/1250-1517م) ، فقد كان وراء تطور وازدهار العديد من العلوم في دمشق أسر عريقة توارث أبناؤها الاهتمام بهذه العلوم ، الذي يحتم علينا الوقوف علي آثار تلك العائلات ، وقد هدفت الدراسة إلي التعريف بالأسر العلمية البارزة في دمشق خلال العصر المملوكي ، وإبراز دور الأسر في الاهتمام بالعلوم الشرعية واللغة العربية والذي أغفلته كثير من الكتابات التي ركزت علي أنسابها ومفاخرها وأمجادها ، كما هدفت أيضا إلي التعريف بجهود الأسر العلمية في النهوض بالعلوم الشرعية في بلاد الشام وكذلك التعريف بأثرها في الحياة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية . اتبعت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي و الوصفي وذلك عن طريق جمع المادة العلمية من مصادرها الأصلية ثم فرزها و مقارنتها للوصول لنتائج حقيقية ، ومن النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن تلك الأسر كان لها دور كبير في المجتمع الدمشقي من بناء مساجد ومدارس وغيرها ، كذلك كان لها الدور الفعال في انتقال البعض إلي دمشق للأخذ من علومهم ، حيث ازدهرت دمشق وأصبحت مقراً لكثير من طلبة العلم ، وقد كانت تلك الأسر في كثير من الأحيان صله الوصل بين الحاكم والرعية ، توصي الدراسة بضرورة التعرض لمثل هذه الأسر ومعرفتها ومعرفة ما أحدثته من تغيير في تلك البقاع .

Abstract The Study titled the Damascus Scientific families and there affect upon general life through the Mamloki age (648 _ 923 / 1250 _1517 ) , behind the development and prosperity of anumber of sciences in Damascus , there were deeproted families their generation inherited these sciences , that imposed us to stop at those families . The study aims to know the prominent scientific families in damascus during Mamlooki Age . The most prominent role of those families is the interest of legal sciences and Arabic Language which was neglected by many writings . The study also aims to know the efforts of scientific families in developing legal sciences in sham countries and also to know its influence of social economic and political life . The researcher follows the historical and onalxtical method , that through the mean of collecting scientific material from its original sources and then its classification and comparison to reach the factual results . The researcher also concludes to that those families had a big role in Damascus community as mosques and schools building , beside the effective role of the travelling other to damascuss flourished and becomes a place for many of scientific students , those families sometime were the link between the ruler and his people , the researcher recommends the necessity of knowing those families and what they have done of changings in those areas .
