Abstract

ABSTRACT Research shows the concept of errors detection (errors in bits of data) in computer networks which occur during the data bits sending through the communication media between sender and receiver this errors can be produced from noise or electrical interference , and discussion mechanisms of error detection using cyclic redundancy check and how calculated and used for errors detection and then use this mechanism with the error recovery algorithm , and the mechanism of checksum and the method of calculation, and the mechanism of parity bit both types (odd parity bit and even parity bit) and the advantages and disadvantages .
