Abstract

Abstract This work tackles the phenomena of violence among Sudanese university students. The sttidy considers university students as an important unit in the society. The objective is to introduce reasons political the appearance and development of this phenomena, and to explain the effects of different factors (economical, social, political and cultureal) on behavior of students involved. The study also aimed to ligurc out the social economic effects of violence on the stability of academic year. l)cscriptive analytical method together with ctatistical analysis of the data were used, Historical method was also used to bridge the past and current situation, and to predict its future. The study reached to the fouowing conclusions . * Prevention of Political activities, one -— sided minds, weakness of social relations, and disqualifying of political activists plus the bad economical situation among students are behind the appearance and growing up of violence phenomena in Sudanese universities. T * Many features of violence occur during students, unian elections and political demonstrations in the universities. The study recommends political freedom, respect of different ideas, and promonting students in the ways of peaceful demonstrations.
