Abstract

Abstract The research deals with social peace and it’s role in a achieving national unity, taking as a case study Daralsalam Camp in Umbada (Khartoum state). The research traces the factors leading to social peace and suggests solution and suggestions to handle difficulties . The study over-viewed the conceptual frame work regarding peace making. Special emphasis, as Faras methodology was concerned was put on analyzing the situation of the displaced in Khartoum state — In Daral — Salam — Comp - , and describing the characteristics of the sample (250 persons). Data was collected via a question are classified and tabulated, before discussion and analysis was under taken . The study concluded that social inter action and cultural contacts, within this ethnically, religlusly and linguistically diversified community , and as a result of social change, paved chances for coexistence and social tolerance . Also among the research findings is that the inter-mixing of the displaced results in social change and peaceful coexistence between the displaced and the local community in the context of mortal respect and equality in front the law; This may cause deep contacts between different Sudanese tribes, eradicate linguistic barriers and cause Sudanese society to be more homogeneous and melted in one post, paving way for every one to live easy, peaceful and secured life .
