The Mutual Influence of Arabic and English Poetry

Abstract

مستخلص البحث هذه الدراسة (دراسة مقارنة) بين الأدبين العربي والإنجليزي بعنوان: (التأثير والتأثر بين الشعر العربي والإنجليزي) "شوقي وملتون" أنموذجاً لهذه الدراسة. وقد بدأت هذه الدراسة في الفصل الأول بضبط مفاهيم الشعر العربي التي كانت البداية الحقيقية لها في الدراسات الإغريقية والتاريخية القديمة عند اليونانيين في كتاب "الشعر" لأرسطو الذي تناول هذا الجانب من الدراسات الأدبية والتاريخية والنقدية تناولاً كاملاً من عدة زوايا وموضحاً ذلك وضوحاً كاملاً من أسماء وتقسيمات ومعاني وأفرع وأمثلة وغيرها وذلك عن طريق توضيحها عند الآلهة والعلماء والشُعراء والكُتّاب اليونانيون فكان الشعر وليد الأساطير وقوة وإشعاع اللغة الأسطورية. بعد ذلك تطرق الباحث "لمفهوم الشعر" عند قدامى العرب منذ نشأته – والإلهام والصنعة حتى تطور مفهومه، وذلك منذ عصور الأساطير الأولى وامتدت تلك المفاهيم عبر هذه الفترات الطويلة والأزمنة الممتدة عبر تاريخها الطويل كذلك من اختلاف أسمائها وتقسيماتها وأنواعها وتصوراتها ومعانيها بين الحقيقة والخيال ورتبوا ذلك ترتيباً جمالياً يفوق كل الجمال بفضل المتفوقين منقسم عند كل من: ابن قتيبة، ابن طباطبا، عند قدامة بن جعفر، أبو هلال العسكري، ابن رشيق القيرواني، حازم القرطاجي. حيث تتبع هؤلاء الكُتّاب والنقاد تلك المفاهيم في دقة وتحاليل وشروح وأمثلة ومعاني وغيرها حتى وصلت إلى العصر الحديث. وضربوا بذلك أروع الأمثلة بالحفاظ على هذا الإرث العربي القديم. ثم تناول الباحث "مفهوم الشعر الإنجليزي" والذي تمثل بداية النهضة الأوروبية التي بدأت في إنجلترا ومنها انتقلت إلى بقية أجزاء دول أوروبا. وتطرق الباحث إلى شعراء انجلترا على رأسهم "وليم شكسبير" زعيم شعراء انجلترا وجون ملتون وشيلي ورود روث وغيرهم. بعد ذلك تطرق الباحث إلى التأثير والتأثير وأنواعه وتأثير الشعر الغربي وخاصة شعر اليوت على الشعر العربي الحديث. وتناول الباحث محاضرة البروفيسور عبد الله الطيب عن (أثر الأدب العربي في شعر ت. س إليوت). وكذلك أطروحة الدكتور محمد عبد الحي. أما في الفصل الثاني تطرق الباحث للشاعر "أحمد شوقي" والذي يمثل أميز الشعراء في العصر الحديث، بل "أمير الشعراء" لأنه أضاف للشعر العربي إضافات جديدة لم تكن موجودة من قبل في الشعر العربي، لذلك درسته مقارنة مع الشاعر الإنجليزي "جون ميلتون". وفي الفصل الثالث تطرق الباحث كذلك للشاعر الإنجليزي "جون ملتون" والذي هو كذلك من الشعراء الذين وضعوا في طبقة عليا من الشعراء الإنجليز لوجود أوجه تشابه عند الشاعرين جون ملتون وشوقي في الشعر. لذلك اختار الباحث هذين الشاعرين الكبيرين للمقارنة بينهما من عدة أوجه من حيث التشابه في شعريهما وتوضيح هذا التشابه توضيحاً كاملاً دراسة وتحليلاً وشرحاً. الفصل الرابع تطرق الباحث إلى مفهوم الشعر الإنجليزي بلغته الأصيلة وهي اللغة الإنجليزية من حيث كيفية نشأتها وأنواعها وتقسيماتها وأفرعها والشعراء الإنجليز بداية بوليم شكسبير، وشيلي، وبرنارد شو وغيرهم من شعراء الأدب الإنجليزي مع مقارنتها بالأدب العربي. جاءت خاتمة البحث شاملة النتائج والتوصيات التي توصل إليها الباحث ومن ثم فهرس الآيات والأشعار وقائمة المصادر والمراجع وفهرس الموضوعات. Abstract This study is a comparative study between the Arabic and English literature entitled: (The Mutual Influence of Arabic and English Poetry) "Shawky and Milton" model for this study. This study began in the first chapter to adjust the concepts of Arabic poetry, which was the real beginning in ancient Greek and historical studies of the Greeks in the book "Poetry" of Aristotle which dealt with this aspect of literary, historical and monetary studies in a complete manner from several angles and explained it completely from several angles and explained that full of names, divisions, meanings, branches, examples and others This was explained by the Greek gods, scientists, poets and writers. Poetry was the birthplace of myths and the power and radiance of the mythological language. After that, the researcher touched upon the concept of poetry among the Arab Arabs since its inception - inspiration and workmanship until the development of its concept, since the epochs of the first legends and extended these concepts through these long periods and long periods spanning its long history as well as different names and divisions and types and perceptions and meanings between the truth and imagination and arranged it An aesthetic arrangement that surpasses all beauty thanks to the outstanding is divided into: Ibn Qutaiba, son of Tabataba, at Qudaamah ibn Ja'far, Abu Hilal al-Askari, son of Riziq al-Qayrawani, Hazem al-Qurtaji where these writers and critics follow those concepts in accuracy, analysis, explanations, examples, meanings and others until they reached the modern era Thus striking the finest examples of preserving this ancient Arab heritage. The researcher then tackled the concept of English poetry, which marked the beginning of the European Renaissance that began in England and moved to the rest of Europe. The researcher addressed the poets of England, headed by "William Shakespeare," the leader of the poets of England and John Milton and Chile and Rod Roth and others. After that, the researcher touched upon the influence, influence, types and influence of Western poetry, especially the poetry of Eliot on modern Arabic poetry. The researcher addressed a lecture by Professor Abdullah Al-Tayeb on the impact of Arabic literature on TS Eliot's poetry. As well as the thesis of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hay. In the second chapter, the researcher addressed the poet Ahmed Shawki, who represents the distinguished poets of modern times, but the Prince of Poets because he added to Arabic poetry new additions that were not previously in Arabic poetry, so I studied it compared to English poet John Milton. In the third chapter the researcher also addressed the English poet "John Milton", who is also a poets who placed in the upper class of English poets to the existence of similarities in the poets John Milton and Shawki in poetry. Therefore, the researcher chose these two great poets to compare them in several ways in terms of similarities in their hairs and to clarify this similarity as a complete explanation of study, analysis and explanation. Chapter Four The researcher touched upon the concept of English poetry in its original language, English in terms of its origins, types, divisions, branches, and English poets, the beginning of Shakespeare, Chile, Bernard Shaw and other poets of English literature, as compared to Arabic literature. The conclusion of the research included the results and recommendations reached by the researcher and then the index of verses and poems and list of sources and references and the index of topics.
