Abstract

Abstract This study tackled the family violence against the spouse in Libyan community, the problem of study dwell with a roughness treatment and violence against Libyan women, but it is difficult to identify its occurrence, because of traditional and habits of the Libyan society, that let the violence phenomenon has specialty in the family, Libyan women always is secrecy, so she suffers alone and left its effects on the family and also on the social nurture, the study aimed to identify the reasons that lead to violence against the women, and identify the nature of this violence which practiced against her, the important of the study in its addressing this important slides of the community, because of the great role played by the women in the basic requirements of the family , also the important of the study came to beneficiations of the competent organs like the special legalization of Judiciary to put a suitable strategy that can treated the negative problems happened by family's violence against spouse, the study concerned with descriptive analysis method, then used (SPSS) , through it achieved the following results: - When the age of the wife increased, violence from husband against his wife reduced in the Libyan family. - When the age of the husband increased, violence practiced against his wife reduced in the Libyan family. - When the period of marriage prolong , the husband increase to practice violence inside the Libyan family. - Those who married from their relatives or from outside thier families equally takes violence inside the Libyan family. - Those husband who awarded high level of education is less violence against their wife. - Most of the sample individuals , and represented 97.5% have another job outside their home." — The families that their income is limited, violence against women is increased.

Spouses who followed cultural media means are the most facing family's violence , and those who are more awareness almost fall in violence from their husbands inside the Libyan family. Through these results the researcher recommended the following: The necessity of increasing family guidance centres to help women that facing violence at all types, and provide helps and protection and qualifying then and build up their capacity of services, and put an awareness programs to aggressive illiteracy for all community. To work to change the prevailing social culture on woman rights through held symposiums that talked about the important role of the woman at all the work field. The necessity of modernizing a rules to prevent woman from violence and grantees to let woman anived justice, the assure not let those who practicing violence to escape from justice.
