دور إختصاصي المكتبات والمعلومات في تطوير خدمات المعلومات في البيئة الرقمية دراسة مسحية المكتبات الطبية المتخصصة بولاية الخرطوم

Abstract

المستخلص تناولت هذه الدراسة موضوع المهارات المتعلقة باخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات وخصوصا في البيئة الرقمية ،هدفت للتعرف على خدمات المعلومات في البيئة الرقمية من خلال الدور الذي يلعبه اختصاصي المكتبات والمعلومات في تطوير تلك الخدمات ولتحقيق اهداف البحث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوثائقي التاريخي بحيث يستعرض مفهوم المكتبات المتخصصة والرقمية وخصائصها ومفهوم إختصاصي المعلومات المكتبات والدور الذي يقوم به في تطوير خدمات المعلومات في الييئة الرقمية واستخدم الباحث أيضاالمنهج الوصفي التحليلي وذلك لأنه يقوم على جمع المعلومات وتحليلها والخروج بنتائج وتوصيات .كما استخدم منهج دراسة الحالة للتطبيق على المكتبات الطبية موضوع الدراسة.واتسخدم الباحث المقابلة في دررساه والاستبيان الذى وزع على المستفيدين من المكتبات موضوع الدراسة توصل الباحث الى عدة نتائج ابرزها:- تتباين مؤهلات إختصاصي المكتبات مابين الجامعي وفوق الجامعي جميع المكتبات محل الدراسة بها مكتبة الكترونية ولكن لا تتجاوز عدد 10 أجهزة حاسوب . من أهم مهارات العاملين في جميع المكتبات محل الدراسة هىاجادة إستخدام الحاسب الآلي ، وإستخدام الإنترنت. كما اوصى الباحث بعدة توصيات ابرزها زيادة الجرعة التدربية لاخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات بالمكتبات الطبية في الجانب الرقمي . - تقوية خدمات المعلومات من خلال زيادات العاملين بالمكتبة وتاهيلهم . الاشتراك في قواعد البيانات الطبية المتخصصة . - تدريب المستفيدين على استخدام الفهارس الالكترونية واشكال مصادر المعلومات الالكترونية المختلفة.

Abstract This study dealt with the skills of the library and information specialist, particularly in the digital environment. It aimed at shedding light on the information services in the digital environment through the role being played by the library and information specialist. In order to achieve the objectives of this research, the researcher used the historic documentary approach, which reviewed the concept of the specialized and digital libraries as well as their features and characteristics, besides the concept of library and information specialist and his/her role in developing and upgrading the information services in the digital environment. The researcher also used the descriptive analytical approach, which is based on collecting and analyzing information and coming up with results and recommendations. The searcher also adopted the case study approach, focusing on the medical libraries in particular. The researcher depended on the methodology of face-to-face interview and the questionnaires, distributed to the beneficiaries of the libraries under study. The researcher reached to several results, most notably were that the librarians under the study have academic qualifications of university graduate and postgraduate levels. The study found that all the libraries under the study have electronic and e-book library but they have less that 10 computer sets. The study also found that among the most important skills of all the libraries under the study were excelling the use of computer as well as the interment browsing and general usage. At the end of the research, the researcher put some recommendations, including the following: • Increasing the training dose for librarians and information specialists in medical libraries, particularly in the digital aspect; • Scaling up the services being rendered by increasing and training the staff of the library; • Subscribing in the specialized medical databases; and • Training the beneficiaries on using the electronic classification schemes as well as other sources of digital information.
