dc.description.abstractAbstract Background: - Intestinal parasitic infections are one of the most problems in developing countries like Sudan. Therefore the present study aimed to assess the prevalence of intestinal parasitic infection among primary school children in Red Sea State – Sudan. Methods: - Cross sectional study was conducted from September 2018 to December 2018 in red sea state Sudan. three hundred and six school children were selected randomly. Stool samples were collected and processed by direct wet mount and formal ether concentration technique for microscopic detection of intestinal parasites. Data analysis was done by using SPSS version 20. Results: - the most parasites detected Entamoeba coli (40 %) , Hymenolepis nana (25 %) ,Giardia lamblia (9 %) and Entamoeba histolytica (8 %) Conclusions :- the overall prevalence of intestinal parasitic infections was relatively high . the ongoing school based deworming should be strengthened and integrated with school health programs. الخلاصة الخلفية عدوي الطفليات المعوية من اكبر المشاكل في الدول النامية مثل السودان لذلك الهدف الرئيسي للدارسة الحالي دارسة انتشار معدل الطفليات المعوية بين طلاب مدارس الابتدائية في ولاية البحر الاحمر – السودان . الطرق تم اجراء مسح عشوائي في الفترة من سبتمبر 2018م الي ديسمبر 2018م . الدراسة شملت عدد ثلاثمائه وستة طالب . عينات الفسحة جمعت واجريت عليها اختبارات الطريقة المباشرة وطريقة الترسيب لكشف الدطفليات المعوية . العينات حللت بواسطة برنامج (SPSS) اصدار 20. النتائج :- معظم الطفليات المعوية هي (Entamoeba coli (40% و (Hymenolepis nana(25%)) و (Giardia lamblia (9%)) و (Entamoeba histolytica (8%))) الاستنتاج :- معدل انتشار الطفليات المعوية مرتفع نسبيا تعزيز وازالة الدايدان وتعزيز الصحة ودمجها مع برنامج الصحة المدرسيةen_US
