Abstract Impact of applying the quantitative method on the efficiency of the performance of the companies Applied research on industrial companies in enrolled in Saudi stock market Objectives: The objectives of this study included measuring the involvement degree of the financial management staff members including the decision makers in the industrial companies that are registered on the Saudi Stock Market (Commission) in the decision making process; and, studying the depth of the fmancial management staff members‘ knowledge of Quantitative Methods that are used by the industrial companies as a Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Among the objectives of this study was to study the extent to which Quantitative Method has been applied as a Key Performance Indicator. Also, this study aimed to know the most important Quantitative Methods that are used in the Capital-Market-Listed Industrial Companies to measure the efficiency of their performance; and, to know the benefits and importance of using Quantitative Methods as a Key Performance Indicator. Studying barriers towards applying the Quantitative Methods as a Key Performance Indicator and studying the impact of such techniques on the financial performance efficiency were also among the objectives of this study. Descriptive Documentary Method has been applied to subject - related books and periodicals. Mean Field Theory has also been applied using a questionnaire that has been prepared for this study. In addition to some fmancial reports, analyzing them and sharing detailed reports of some companies to support the objective of this research; and, to increase the subject-related resources. This study included (47) forty seven workers in the Saudi Market- Listed Industrial Companies. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software has been used for data analysis; applying some of

methods such as Measures of Central Tendency, T—test and Hypothesis Testing to come up with his findings and recommendations. Relying on statistical data analysis, the researcher found an increasing number of workers who take part in the decision making process. Also, an increasing knowledge‘ among workers of Quantitative Methods as a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) has been another result of the study. He also found an increasing awareness among workers of the importance of using and applying Quantitative Methods as a Key Performance Indicator. Huge impact of Quantitative Methods on the efficiency of the fmancial performance was also among the findings. In light of the above results and fmdings, the researcher recommends the use of Quantitative Methods as a Key Performance Indicator in the industrial companies to: Improve their performance, provide a better organizational environment toward using those Quantitative Methods and to remove barriers toward the proper use of them.
