Abstract

ABST RACT The study highlighted the problem of bad bank debt and the elilbt-ts ol‘ the Sudanese banks and banks selected and the extent as they are rclleeted lon the Sudanese economy during the period from l‘)9l to Z001. The study covers through the first two sections address the funding in concept, definition, types, forms, patterns and how the grant in the form ot credit by banks which identified ways and means of a grant, according to sectors, and formulas for the total Sudanese banks and selected banks. and to determine the contribution of these banks in linancing development and he extent of its commitment to the controls and policies Assembly ol' the State address with the plans and development programs during the study period. Since the main objective is to determine how to deal with bad debts in the banking system, the study addressed to the delinition ofdefault, types andlits causes and effects, as well as the evolution ol‘ the banking finance witlji a defaulter rate in each of the total funding, whether for the banks all Suclanhse or models that have been selected. ln the section of the second to determine the impact of these bank dl-ht defaulting banks and the balance sheet and the linal accounts olthe hank and its contribution to the deterioration in the perlormance of banks. which reflected on the national economy and its growth Ftather directly and Fotlnd that the bank bad debt contributed to the weakening of the developmentl ol the Sudanese economy during the study period. l lt has developed some solutions in the form ol' a strategy to tackle lhe problem of bad bank clebt and working to reduce to a mininnnn ill the proposals were put into practice, as well as how to take advantage o|' this; money in bringing about economic development and achieve de\'elop|nt-nt through the optimum exploitation of this money in economic development and finally, sound study proved their eflicicney in assignments and pi'<|l\u- their authenticity and realism.
